(1654) Bojeva is an asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on October 8, 1931 by the Russian astronomer Pelageja Fyodorovna Schain at the Crimean Observatory in Simejis .
The name of the asteroid was given in honor of the astronomer Nina Fyodorovna Bojewa .
