(1674) Groeneveld is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on September 7, 1938 by the German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth in Heidelberg .
The asteroid is named after the Dutch astronomer Ingrid van Houten-Groeneveld .
