(1734) Zhongolovich is an asteroid of the main belt discovered on October 11, 1928 by the Russian astronomer Grigory Nikolayevich Neuimin in Simejis .

The asteroid is named after the Russian astronomer Ivan Danilowitsch Schongolowitsch ( Russian Иван Данилович Жонголович ).
