(18560) Coxeter is an asteroid of the main belt , the March 7, 1997 by American Italo- astronomer Paul G. Comba at Prescott Observatory ( IAU code in 684) Arizona was discovered.
The asteroid was named after the British-Canadian mathematician Harold Scott MacDonald Coxeter (1909-2003), who was considered a leading authority on classical geometry in English-speaking countries and beyond and was professor at the University of Toronto for many years .
