(2003) Harding is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on September 24, 1960 by the Dutch research team Cornelis Johannes van Houten , Ingrid van Houten-Groeneveld and Tom Gehrels as part of the Palomar-Leiden Survey .
The asteroid is named after the German astronomer Karl Ludwig Harding (1765–1834), who discovered the asteroid (3) Juno on September 1, 1804 at the Lilienthal observatory .
