(22168) Weissflog is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on November 30, 2000 by the German amateur astronomers Jens Kandler and Gerhard Lehmann at the Drebach observatory ( IAU code 113) in Saxony .
The asteroid was named on May 1, 2003 after the German ski jumper Jens Weißflog (* 1964), who dominated his sport between 1984 and 1996.
