(22474) Frobenius is an asteroid of the main belt , which from the March 8, 1997 Italian-American astronomer Paul G. Comba at the observatory Prescott ( IAU code 684) in Arizona was discovered.

The asteroid was named on May 9, 2001 after the German mathematician Ferdinand Georg Frobenius (1849–1917).
