(2368) Beltrovata is an asteroid of the Cupid type , which was discovered on September 4, 1977 by Paul Wild in Bern .
The asteroid is named after a play on words by Gottfried Keller : He formed the Italian expression “Bella Trovata” or “Beltrovata”, literally “the beautiful found one” , from the initials of the Betty Tendering he was courting. Then again the character Dortchen Schönfund from his novel The Green Heinrich is named.
