(2674) Pandarus is an asteroid belonging to the group of Jupiter Trojans . This describes asteroids that move around the sun on the Lagrange points on Jupiter's orbit . (2674) Pandarus was discovered on January 27, 1982 at the Oak Ridge Observatory .
The asteroid was named after Pandaros , an archer from Greek mythology who took part in the Trojan War .
