(2738) Viracocha is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 12 March 1940 by the Hungarian astronomers György Kulin at Konkoly Observatory ( observatory code 053) in Budapest was discovered.
The asteroid is named after Viracocha , a high god of the Incas.
