(29193) Dolphyn is an asteroid of the main belt , the October 16, 1990 by the Belgian astronomer Eric Walter Elst at the La Silla Observatory ( IAU code of 809) European Southern Observatory (ESO) in Chile was discovered.
The asteroid was named on November 18, 1990 after the Flemish painter Willem Dolphyn (* 1935), who mainly creates still lifes .
