(30306) Frigyesriesz is an asteroid of the main belt extending from the on 2 May 2000 Italian-American astronomer Paul G. Comba at Prescott Observatory ( IAU code 684) in Prescott , Arizona was discovered.

The asteroid was named after the Hungarian mathematician Frigyes Riesz (1880–1956), who made significant contributions to functional analysis. The asteroid was named on April 27, 2002.
