(3469) Bulgakov is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on October 21, 1982 by the Ukrainian astronomer Lyudmila Georgievna Karachkina at the Crimean Observatory ( IAU code 095) in Nautschnyj .
The asteroid was named after the Soviet writer Michail Afanassjewitsch Bulgakow (1891–1940), who is considered one of the great satirists of Russian literature .
