(3491) Fridolin is an asteroid of the main belt , which the Swiss astronomers on September 30, 1984 Paul Wild , from zimmerwald observatory of the University of Bern in was discovered.

The asteroid is named after Fridolin von Säckingen , the patron saint of the Swiss canton of Glarus .
