(4064) Marjorie is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on September 24, 1960 by the research team Cornelis Johannes van Houten , Ingrid van Houten-Groeneveld and Tom Gehrels as part of the Palomar-Leiden Survey . However, the object was spotted for the first time on April 30, 1951 by the Kurashiki Observatory.
The origin of the name is Marjorie Meinel, the wife of Aden Meinel .
