Michael "Mike" Alan Welch (born July 25, 1987 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actor .

Life

Michael Welch was born in July 1987 in Los Angeles, California and grew up there. He had guest roles in various series, including Stargate - Kommando SG-1 , The X Files - The FBI's Scary Cases , CSI: On the Trail of the Criminals and Cold Case - No Victim Is Ever Forgotten . He made his first cinema appearance in the ninth Star Trek film The Uprising . In the 2006 film All the Boys Love Mandy Lane , he was one of the leading actors for the first time. He also voiced Disney's Pinocchio in the cartoon series of the same name for four years. In 2008 he played the role of Mike Newton in the movie Twilight . He also took on this role in the three sequel films New Moon - Bite at noon , Eclipse - Bite to the sunset and Breaking Dawn - Bite to the end of the night, part 1 .

Michael Welch is a drummer in a band. He is the father of a son.
