(4212) Sansyu-Asuke is a major belt asteroid discovered on September 28, 1987 by Kenzō Suzuki and Takeshi Urata of the Toyota Observatory.

The asteroid was named on November 26, 2004 after Sanshū-Asuke ( 三 州 足 助 ) and its scenic area in Toyota , Aichi Prefecture .
