(4454) Kumiko is a main belt asteroid discovered on November 2, 1988 by Seiji Ueda and Hiroshi Kaneda at the Kushiro-shi Observatory .

The asteroid was named after Kumiko Kaneda , the wife of Hiroshi Kaneda.
