(529) Preziosa is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on March 20, 1904 by the German astronomer Max Wolf in Heidelberg .
The asteroid is named after the title character of Pius Alexander Wolff's play Preciosa , for which Carl Maria von Weber wrote his drama music.
