(53311) Deucalion is a Trans-Neptunian Object (TNO) in the Kuiper Belt discovered on April 18, 1999 by the Deep Ecliptic Survey at the Kitt Peak National Observatory. It has an assumed diameter of 211 km and orbits the sun once every 296 years. The TNO was classified as Cubewano and named after Deukalion , the son of Prometheus from Greek mythology.
