(7866) Sicoli is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 13 October 1982 by the American astronomer Edward LG Bowell at the Anderson Mesa Station ( IAU code 688) of the Lowell Observatory in Coconino County was discovered.

The asteroid was named after the Italian amateur astronomer Piero Sicoli (* 1954).
