(9119) Georgpeuerbach is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on February 18, 1998 at the Davidschlag observatory near Linz in Austria .
The asteroid was named on April 2, 1999 after the Austrian astronomer Georg von Peuerbach (1423–1461).
