1,4-pentadiene is an unsaturated chemical compound from the group of aliphatic hydrocarbons .
Extraction and presentation
1,4-Pentadiene can be obtained by decomposing 1,5-pentanediol diacetate or by reacting α-allyl-β-bromoethyl ethyl ether with zinc and zinc chloride in butyl alcohol .
