XM 1994 1 is a small asteroid from Apollo-type . It was discovered on December 9, 1994 by Jim V. Scotti as part of the Spacewatch project at the Kitt Peak National Observatory ( IAU code 695).
During its flyby in December 1994 it came close to the earth to approx. 110,000 km, about a third of the distance from earth to moon.
