2. Badminton Bundesliga 2008/09
The 2nd Badminton Bundesliga 2008/2009 as the second highest German division in the sport of badminton was divided into two seasons (north and south), in which eight teams competed against each other. The two champions of the 2nd Bundesliga played for a promotion place to the 1st Badminton Bundesliga , with TV Refrath triumphing as the winner of the Bundesliga North against their southern rivals SG Anspach . The last two clubs in each season should be relegated to the regional league. Since the TV Refrath rose from the group north to the first division and no one was relegated from there, RW Wesel was able to remain seventh in the second division north.
