Ascent and descent

Relegated from the 1st Bundesliga are the Rüsselsheimer RK and TuS Lichterfelde for the next season , both are relegated to the South group, which therefore has 3 relegations.

Newcomers from the regional league for the next season are the Bietigheimer HTC and SC Charlottenburg in the south, the TG Heimfeld and RTHC Bayer Leverkusen in the north .
