2005 TN 53 is a Neptune Trojan that was discovered in 2005 by Scott S. Sheppard and Chad Trujillo using the 6.5 m Magellan Baade telescope . It was the third such body to be discovered. It has the same orbital period as Neptune and is located at the Lagrange point L 4 , 60 ° in front of Neptune.
The orbit incline is 25 °.
With an absolute brightness of 9.1 it is probably the smallest known Neptune Trojan with a diameter in the range of 40 to 90 km.
He was observed 23 times across three oppositions .
