The 21st Army / Army High Command 21 (AOK 21) was a major unit of the Army of the Wehrmacht during the Second World War . She was the high command of changing army corps and numerous special troops.

The 21st Army was formed from parts of the 4th Army and the Steiner Army Group from the Vistula Army Group at the end of April 1945 after the Battle of East Prussia . At this point in time, the Wehrmacht units were already showing signs of disintegration. Von Tippelskirch could neither stop the flow of refugees nor locate his units. She capitulated on May 2, 1945 in northern Germany at Ludwigslust , Eldena and Dömitz to British troops.
