Le Mans 24-hour motorcycle race
The Le Mans 24-hour motorcycle race ( 24 Heures du Mans moto ) is a long-distance motorcycle race that has been held on the Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans , France , since 1978 .
The race is organized by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) and is part of the FIM Endurance World Championship .
history
When the Bol d'Or moved after the 1977 racing season from the Bugatti Circuit , on which it had been held since 1971, to the Paul Ricard Circuit , the Automobile Club de l'Ouest called the Le Mans 24-hour motorcycle race for motorcycles Life. In addition to the 8-hour race in Suzuka and the Bol d'Or, this race became one of the long-distance classics of motorcycle racing.
