Chris Walker (born March 25, 1972 in Nottingham ) is a British motorcycle racer .

Walker's father already ran a motorcycle parts business in Langley Mill , near Nottingham. Walker, who is nicknamed The Stalker , came into contact with two-wheelers very early on. After his first experiences in motocross in 1983, Walker began professional racing in 1995. He mostly competed in road races on a Yamaha and was able to achieve podium places but no victories. At the same time, he also took part in the British Superbike Championship from 1996 alternately on Yamaha, Ducati and Kawasaki . Despite some victories and successes, he could never win the championship. In 2001 Chris Walker started on a Honda from Shell Advance Honda in the 500 cc class of the motorcycle world championship , which he finished in twelfth place. His teammate that year was Leon Haslam . From the following year he successfully took part in the Superbike World Championship (both on Kawasaki, Ducati and Petronas ). Walker competed in the 2007 season with the British Superbikes. In 2008 he entered the international competition again, before he only drove in the British championship on Kawasaki, Yamaha and Suzuki from 2009 . In 2015, Walker surprised him with the announcement that he would withdraw from the races with solo motorcycles in order to take part in the British Sidecar Championship. In 2015 he opened a motorcycle dealership for Kawasaki in Grantham . He also holds race training courses and runs a motocross course in Gonerby Moor ( Lincolnshire ).
