24 minutes is the 399th episode of the American animated television series The Simpsons . With its plot and staging style, the episode parodies the real-time television series 24 .

action

The CTU ( Chaoten-Driven Hunt Unit ) is operated at Springfield Elementary School , an anti-terrorist unit headed by Rector Skinner and Lisa Simpson, whose task, among other things, is to track down truants. Meanwhile, Homer Simpson is hired by Mr. Burns to dispose of his spoiled yogurt, whose best-before date has already passed so far that the yogurt could be toxic. Marge discovers that the school's cake festival is about to begin in twenty-seven minutes and tries to bake a cake in time and bring it to school. The yogurt comes into the possession of the truancy clique around Dolph, Jimbo and Kearney, who use it to build a stink bomb and set it off at the school festival. After Bart and Lisa find out about it, they do everything in their power to stop the three of them from setting off the stink bomb at school. Bart can prevent the assassination attempt on the cake bazaar at the last second; Marge saves his life by smashing a pane of glass with her cake that has turned too hard. Shortly afterwards a fantastic anti-terrorist squad under the direction of from 24 well-known agent Jack Bauer primary school after Bart him a phone prank had played.

The episode won an Annie Award in the Best Screenplay category for an animated television production in 2008 .
