3 Mecky’s , also Die 3 Mecky’s , Die Meckys as well as Ernst Geiger and his Soloists was an Austrian Schlager , Cabaret and Wienerlied group from the 1960s.

Band history

3 Mecky's was founded in 1962 by Ernst Geiger, who often appeared as a band leader and was already successful with his band Die 3 Spitzbuben , and the musicians Bert Ull and Friedl Szálat. Her biggest hit was the song Geh 'Alte schau' mi net so teppert , which reached number 17 in the Austrian charts on January 15, 1969. The written by Bert Ull and Friedl Szalat song was in the wake of various groups and solo artists gecovert , inter alia by Ernst Neger , the duo Feneberg Moser , The Moosacherstrasse , the Kern Buam , James Last , Peter Steiner and Tony Marshall .
