The AS Viterbese Castrense (officially Associazione Sportiva Viterbese Castrense ) is an Italian football club from Viterbo . Currently, the club plays in the Series C .

history

US Viterbese 1908 is the successor club to ADC Viterbese Castrense, founded in 2004, which in turn is a successor club to the former Serie C club AC Viterbo , which in autumn 1999 signed the former striker of the Italian national soccer team Carolina Morace as coach of a men's team for Caused a sensation. The greatest success one had under the direction of the President Fabrizio Capucci under the name, ADC Viterbese Castrense with reaching the relegation series of final to Serie B in 2004, which one lost. Since the re-establishment in June 2013, the former politician and former patron of the football clubs AC Pisa and US Grosseto Piero Camilli has been the club's managing director. His son Vincenzo Camilli is currently the club's president.
