The A. Matrosov ( Russian А. Матросов , German transcription: A. Matrossow) is a river cruise ship that was built in June 1954 in the GDR at the VEB Mathias Thesen shipyard in Wismar and belongs to the Rodina class , project 588 ( in Wismar, however, Projekt-Tschkalow , named after the first ship of the series), German name BiFa type A (inland passenger ship type A). The ship is operated by OAO “PassaschirRetschTrans” on the Yenisei .

The river cruise ship with three passenger decks was built in June 1954 for the Yeniseiskoye Rechnoye Parochodstvo ( Yenisei River Shipping Company ) in Krasnoyarsk . It belongs to a series of 49 Rodina-class ships manufactured between 1954 and 1961 . The ship has a diesel-electric drive with three main engines. The ship was named after the hero of the Soviet Union Alexander Matrosov . In 2014, the ship was used on the Dudinka  - Yeniseisk - Krasnoyarsk route.

Furnishing

There are two restaurants, a bar, reading room and music salon on board.
