The year Line was a Norwegian shipping company , the 1961-1990 Germany with Norway on the route Kiel - Oslo association until the merger with Norway Line for Color Line was.

Years Line had the first ship built with the Janus as early as 1939 , but sold it to Rederi Ab Nordstjernan before completion .

In 1973 the shipping company chartered the Wesertal . In 1973 the second Crown Prince Harald was ordered from the Nobiskrug shipyard in Rendsburg and delivered in 1976.

In 1977 the Suffolk was used on the Kiel - Oslo route.

In 1980 the Prinsesse Ragnhild was withdrawn from the commissioning of the successor ship of the same name from the Kiel - Oslo route and used as a residential ship under the name Janina in Norway. The sale followed in 1981.

From 1985 to 1987 the Jalina was chartered and used between Kiel and Oslo.

The Kronprins Harald , built in 1976, served the route until January 1st, 1987. In 1981, Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft in Kiel delivered the second Prinsesse Ragnhild . It drove on this route until September 4, 1990 and then passed to Color Line , which continued to operate it on the same route under the same name.

The 1961 Kronprins Harald was scrapped in Aliağa , Turkey in 2005 .

The 1966 Prinsesse Ragnhild has been going on casino cruises as Ji Mei from Hong Kong since 1998 .

The Kronprins Harald from 1976 was sold to DFDS in 1987 and renamed Hamburg and later Admiral of Scandinavia . In August 2000 she was sold to Charm Enterprise (Access Ferries) in Panama . On November 20, 2000, it was renamed Caribbean Express . On January 25, 2011, it arrived in Alang for scrapping.

The 1981 Prinsesse Ragnhild was extended by 30 meters in Cádiz in 1991 . The operated this route until December 2004. After that, she operated the route Kristianssand - Hirtshals, later Hirtshals - Stavanger - Bergen and from January 2008 Hirtshals - Oslo as a replacement for the Color Festival that was sold . From May 9, 2008 to October 1, 2008 she was in Sandefjord . As of October 1, 2008, she was transferred to Freeport , Bahamas . It was renamed the Bahamas Celebration . From 2007 to 2019 she drove as Oscar Wilde for Irish Ferries . Since 2019 the ship has been sailing under the Italian flag as GNV Allegra .
