The A287 is a Class I road established in 1923 between the A286 near Haslemere and the A30 southwest of Hook . A peculiarity in its course was the break in Farnham . There it was interrupted by the Class II roads B3001 (South Street) and A31 (The Borough). The interruption section has now been completely transferred to the A325 , which has a one-way ring around the city center of Farnham. She had another break on the A32 just before Hook. It no longer has this today due to major changes to the route of the A32. On its way, it crosses the A3 and continues through the streets of Zone 3. Around Odiham and North Warnborough , the A287 was put on a bypass to the former A32. Their course through Odiham was downgraded to a lower class with no public numbering.
