The A928 road is an A-road in the Scottish Council Area Angus .

The road starts in the center of Kirriemuir . It leads south over the Gairie Burn and leaves Kirriemuir through the southern districts. On the southern edge, the A928 crosses the A926 ( Blairgowrie and Rattray - Forfar ), which runs in an east-west direction . Continuing south through the sparsely populated regions of Angus, the A928 connects the hamlet of Leys of Cossans to the road network. It crosses the Dean Water and leads along the grounds of the historically important Glamis Castle to Glamis . The A94 ( Perth –Forfar) crosses south of the village . At the hamlet of Hatton of Ogilvie , the course of the A928 gradually turns to the southeast. After a total length of 16.9 km, the road ends at its confluence with the A90 ( Edinburgh - Fraserburgh ) around 2.5 km north of Tealing .
