The A926 road is an A-road in the Scottish Council Areas Angus and Perth and Kinross .

The road begins as a junction from the A932 (Forfar - Friockheim ) west of the center of Forfar . After a few hundred meters , the A94 coming from Perth crosses . The A926, which leaves Forfar in the north, crosses the A90 ( Edinburgh - Fraserburgh ) and is connected to it via driveways. It leads west through a sparsely populated region of Angus and connects two hamlets with Padanaram and Maryton to the road network. After around ten kilometers, the A926 reaches Kirriemuir, the next larger town. The A928 coming from the south crosses there .

The road bends southwest through the hamlets of Westmuir and Craigton . At Ruthven she crosses the Isla River and finally arrives at Perth and Kinross . There it touches the village of Alyth and finally reaches Blairgowrie and Rattray . There the A926 ends after a total length of 32.8 km when it joins the A93 (Perth - Aberdeen ).
