The A933 road is an A-road in the Scottish Council Area Angus .

course

The road begins as a junction from the A935 ( Brechin - Montrose ) in the southeast of Brechin. It crosses the South Esk on the single-lane Brechin Bridge , which is classified as a monument of the highest monument category A. The quarry stone structure probably dates back to the early 13th century.

The A933 leads south. The A934 coming from Montrose and the B9113 coming from Forfar join seven kilometers beyond the Esk crossing . The road connects the hamlet of Glasterlaw , crosses the upper reaches of the Lunan Water and finally reaches the western edge of Friockheim . The A932 (Forfar – Friockheim) and the B965 (Friockheim– Inverkeilor ) converge there . Crossing the hamlet of Colliston , the A933 finally reaches Arbroath . There, after a total distance of 22.3 km in the city center, it joins a roundabout on the A92 ( Dunfermline - Stonehaven ).
