The AEG C.III was a two-seat reconnaissance aircraft AEG, department of aircraft , which end in 1915 as the successor of the AEG C.II was built. However, it never got beyond the experimental status. The pattern should give the pilot a better forward view and the observer a better field of fire forward. For this purpose, the entire space between the upper and lower pair of wings was filled. This gave the C.III a mighty hull. Despite this sensible solution, the machine never went into series production.
