AND1 is the name of a company founded in the USA in 1993 that sells basketball and streetball accessories. The founders of AND1 wanted to create a brand that street ballers can identify with. It has since developed into one of the market leaders. Plus they're a streetball crew touring around the world.

Founding history

AND1 was founded in 1993 by three students in Pennsylvania.

And1 achieved the breakthrough with the AND1 Mixtape vol.1 , a VHS video that featured actions by the playground players that had never been seen before. The moves shown by these players mesmerized streetball fans. To date, ten videos from the AND1 mixtape series have been released.
