USFA Ouagadougou ( French Union sportive des forces armées ) is an army sports club in Ouagadougou ( Burkina Faso ). The club's footballers have won the Burkinabe championship seven times (1969, 1970, 1971, 1984, 1987, 1998 and 2000) and the Coupe du Faso national cup competition twice (1968, 2002). The club colors are blue and red, former club names were ASFAN Ouagadougou , USFAN Ouagadougou , ASFAV Ouagadougou and ASFAP Ouagadougou .
During the 2006/07 season, Groupe Fadoul supported the club with 12 million CFA francs (around 18,300 euros). Ali Traoré is Chairman of the Board of Directors, Jean Simporé Chairman of the Executive Committee.
Department presidents: Abdoul Karim Traoré (football), Omer Bationo (handball), Richard Pakotogo (cycling), Boureima Ouédraogo (volleyball), Fidèle Guigma (boxing), Adama Ouédraogo (athletics), Durbiel Kolo François (judo).
The volleyball department won the country's championship in 2006, the handball team in 2009.
At the Burkinabe boxing championships of the 2007/08 season, the following USFA athletes won a total of eight titles: Casimir Nanghara ( flyweight ), Issaka Nabaloum (bantamweight), Omar Ouédraogo (featherweight), Hassane Nabaloum (lightweight), Romaric Bassolé ( superlightweight ), Désiré Zidwemba (Middleweight), Sibiri Jules Kaboré (light heavyweight), Benjamin Bado (heavyweight). Antoine Koama and Boureima Sawadogo were inferior to their opponents.
The champions of the 2008/09 season were Antoine Koama (light flyweight), Issaka Nabaloum (bantamweight), Oumarou Ouédraogo (featherweight), Appolinaire Bassolé (super lightweight), Abdoul Aziz Balima (welterweight), Sibiri Jules Kaboré (middle heavyweight).
Seydou Sanfo was 2007 Burkinabe road cycling champion.
In the 2009 athletics teams, USFA athletes took the first three places in both the 10,000 meters and the 3000 meter obstacle courses.
