The AS Publishing is a Swiss non-fiction publishing with the program priorities alpinism, traffic history, tourism, cycling and photography.
history
Heinz von Arx and Peter Schnyder founded AS Verlag in Zurich in 1991. The first successful titles included the picture book Furka-Bergstrecke and the monograph by the Swiss artist Alois Carigiet. Around 150 titles are currently available; around twelve new publications are added annually.
Book design
Since all books are produced in-house, they have a uniform appearance that is in the tradition of Swiss typography.
