Aaly Tokombayev
Aaly Tokombajew ( Kyrgyz Аалы Токомбаев ; born October 25 jul. / 7. November 1904 greg. In Chon-Kaiyndy , Russian Empire ; d. 19th June 1988 in Frunze , Kyrgyz SSR), under the pseudonym Balka known was a Kyrgyz poet .
life and work
Tokombayev began with the first publications in 1924. In 1927 he graduated from the Central Asian Communist University in Tashkent and became a member of the CPSU .
In the period that followed, Tokombayev made an important contribution to the emergence and development of Soviet Kyrgyz literature . He wrote the poetry collections О Ленине ( "About Lenin", 1927), Цветы труда ( "Flowers of work", 1932) and Ранние стихи ( "Early Poems", 1934) and the novellas Днестр впадает в глубокое море ( "The Dniester flows ins deep sea ”, 1939) and Раненое сердце (“ The wounded heart ”, 1940).
During the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) Tokombayev wrote patriotic poems, the poetic story Земляк Манаса ("The Compatriot of Manas ", 1941) and the poetry collection Благодарность ("Gratitude", 1944). He also co-wrote the text of the national anthem of the Kyrgyz SSR (1946). In the postwar years and the 1960s, he performed with the narrative poems Своими глазами ( "With my own eyes," 1952), Моя метрика ( "My birth certificate", 1955), Мелодия комуза ( "The melody of Komuz ", 1960) and Живая история (“Living History”, 1969) and the Голос времени (“The Voice of Time”, 1966) collection as a masterful realist in appearance. Tokombajew also wrote a verse novel about the Kyrgyz liberation struggle against tsarism , Перед зарёй ("Before the Dawn"), which consists of the two volumes Кровавые годы ("The Bloody Years", 1935) and "Before Dawn" (1947). The work was translated into Russian in 1966 , and in 1967 Tokombayev received the Toktogul Satylganov State Prize of the Kyrgyz SSR for it .
Tokombayev's works have been translated into many national languages of the Soviet Union . Tokombajew himself translated works by Goethe , Schiller , AS Puschkin , MJ Lermontow , WW Majakowski , SJ Marschak , Nezāmi , Abai Qunanbajuly and Schambyl Jabayew . From 1934 to 1949 he was chairman of the Kyrgyz Writers' Union .
