action

Oliver Johnson and Rocky Stonebridge work at Death's Head Tavern . One day Lady Jane asks the two of them to deliver a love letter to singer Bruce Martingale.

In the tavern, Captain Kidd has dinner with Captain Bonney, a pirate woman. Bonney is outraged that Kidd's ships have invaded her territory and ambushed her ships, and she demands compensation from Kidd. Kidd explains to her that he has hidden his treasure on Bone Island and that only he has the map. He wants to take her in tow to give her her compensation on the island. During the conversation, Oliver waits for the two of them to order. He unintentionally swaps the love letter for the treasure map. Rocky notices the mistake and demands from Kidd part of the treasure and a place on the expedition to hand over the map. Kidd gives in but plans to kill them as soon as he has the card again.

The journey that singer Bruce is forced to take begins. During the trip, Kidd makes several unsuccessful attempts to get the map. Bonney, on the other hand, believes the love letter was from Oliver and intended for her. On the trip, Kidd hijacks a ship. On top of this is Lady Jane, who is kidnapped.

Once on the island, Oliver and Rocky begin to recover the treasure. Kidd reveals his real plans, whereupon Bonney is alerted. Bonney and her team attack, win the fight, take Kidd prisoner and enjoy the treasure.

Reviews

“Turbulent pirate film parody, despite some lengths and platitudes still entertaining and entertaining. Outstanding: the role of the pirate captain, performed by Charles Laughton with a charging mood. "

"Quite conventionally designed parody of the pirate films of the 1930s and 1940s, which, however, has a particular highlight with Charles Laughton and is only worth mentioning for that reason."
