Abdoulaye Sylla (born October 12, 1992 in Conakry ) is a Canadian football player of Guinean descent.
Life
Sylla was born in 1992 in Conakry, Guinea, before her mother immigrated to the metropolis of Montréal in Canada with him and his two years older brother Mohamed . From 2006 to 2008 he attended the École Secondaire Du Chêne-Bleu in Pincourt , Québec .
Career
society
Sylla started his career at the age of five in the youth of AS Mouté in a suburb of Conakry, where he played until he was eight. In 2001 his mother emigrated to Canada with his two-year-old brother, where he continued his career with the Lakers de Lac St-Louis in Pierrefonds . In Montréal he developed into a talent as a child and played at the age of nine in the Pierrefonds Cobras U-13 team. After his first season he became an integral part of the Lac St. Louis Regional Team and won the Quebec Games in his age group in 2002. He also helped the Québec selection team to win the gold medal in the Canadian Championship. In the summer of 2004 Sylla took part with Team Canada as team captain at the Danone Cup in France and was honored with the team as the fairest team with the Fair Play Award from superstar Zinédine Zidane . At the Danone Cup in Paris , he was noticed by the scouts of the then Ligue 1 club FC Metz and he switched to FC Metz in summer 2009. After he did not get beyond the reserve role in the second team at Metz, he moved to the CFA club US Forbach in the summer of 2011 . He scored two goals in eleven games for Forbach in half a year and left the club for Finland in winter. In Finland he gained his first experience at professional level for the Kuopion PS and made his debut on January 20, 2012 against the Jyväskylän Jalkapalloklubi . After he came in two games for the KuPS, his contract was canceled on February 20, 2012 and he returned to Canada. On February 29, 2012, he then signed a contract with FC Saint-Léonard in the Canadian Lique AAA, where he made his debut a week later at the Stade Hébert in Laval, Québec . He played in Laval until April 7, 2013, before signing with the Première Ligue de Soccer du Québec club AS Blainville that day. In Blainville, he quickly became the team's top scorer and played for the first time with his brother Mohamed, who was two years older than him. He developed into the team's top performer in two months and was therefore recommended for a trial training session in Poland in August 2013.
National team
In 2004 Sylla was first appointed to the Center Nationale de Haute Performance, which is a training center for the Canadian junior teams. On November 25, 2006 he made his debut for the Canadian U-15 national team in a friendly match at a training camp in the USA. This was followed by four international matches for the Canadian U-17s and one international match for the Canadian U-20 selection .
Others
He played the 2009 Canada Games on Prince Edward Island for Quebec Province in the summer of 2009 .
