Abraham Youlios Kackanatt

Abraham Youlios Kackanatt (born June 10, 1944 in Kallooppara ) is an Indian ecclesiastical and emeritus syro-malankara Catholic bishop of Muvattupuzha .

Life

Abraham Youlios Kackanatt was ordained a priest on October 10, 1970 .

He was appointed bishop of Muvattupuzha on October 12, 2007. Pope Benedict XVI confirmed his appointment on January 18 of the next year. The Grand Archbishop of Trivandrum , Isaac Cleemis Thottunkal , donated him episcopal ordination on February 9 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Geevarghese Divannasios Ottathengil , Bishop of Battery , and Thomas Koorilos Chakkalapadickal , Archbishop of Tiruvalla .

The Syro-Malankan Synod accepted his age-related resignation on June 11, 2019.
