Thomas Koorilos Chakkalapadickal (born October 19, 1958 in Kaddapra Mannar ) is an Indian clergyman and Syro-Malankara Catholic Archbishop of Tiruvalla .

Life

Thomas Koorilos Chakkalapadickal was ordained a priest on December 30, 1985 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him on May 9, 1997 auxiliary bishop in Tiruvalla and titular bishop of Tigisi in Mauretania . The Bishop of Tiruvalla, Geevarghese Timotheos Chundevalel , donated him episcopal ordination on July 17th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Geevarghese Divannasios Ottathengil , Bishop of Battery , and Kuriakose Kunnacherry , Bishop of Kottayam .

On January 15, 2003 he was appointed the first bishop of the Muvattupuzha Eparchy, which was established on the same date . He was appointed Archbishop of Tiruvalla on March 26, 2007 and was introduced to the office on May 2 of the same year.
