Abraham von Kreytzen

Abraham Josaphat von Kreytzen , also Creytzen (* 1624 ; † August 29, 1674 ) was a senior marshal in the Duchy of Prussia .

Life

Origin and family

Abraham von Creytzen was a member of the Prussian line Domnau of the noble family von Creytzen . His parents were the Prussian colonel and commander in chief of the Prussian troops Wolf von Creytzen (1580–1649) and Anna Euphrosyna, née von Proeck (1593–1632). He married Juliane Elisabeth von Rauschke († 1690) in 1650. The marriage resulted in six children, including the two imperial major general Georg Corvin von Creytz († before 1701) and Wolfgang Josaphat von Creytz (1673-1707).

Career

Kreytzen was captain to Tilsit , 1655 to Angerburg from 1655 to 1667 to Tapiau and Fischhausen . On May 30, 1672 he was senior counselor and senior marshal. He was also the regional director of Braunsberg and president of the Oberappelations, as well as the heir to the castle and city of Domnau, Groß Saalau , Skoden , Ackerau , Nauritten , Galitten and Schönwiese .
