Achim Brock

Achim Brock (born November 3, 1958 in Hamburg ) is a German actor .

Life

After finishing school, Achim Brock went to the Hedi Höpfner drama school in Hamburg. During his training he played at the Thalia Theater Hamburg under Boy Gobert and Jürgen Flimm . Later he worked a. a. at the Landesbühne Esslingen , the Landestheater Detmold and the Stadttheater Essen.

At the end of the 1980s he founded the independent theater "Düsseldorfer Ensemble" with the actress Heide Reinhold , later renamed the "Theater der Stadt Langenfeld". It is the smallest official city theater in the Federal Republic.

Achim Brock also works for film and television: u. a. Lindenstrasse , Verbotene Liebe , Unter uns , Motorradcops, TV games, Children of Wax and Ballermann 6 .

At the end of the 1990s he founded his narrative theater Achim Brock. Here Brock tells and plays stories from world literature a. a. The Canterville Ghost , A Prose Christmas Story , The Sandman, and Others. With these programs Brock appears all over Germany. He regularly plays in the theater museum of the city of Düsseldorf with performances for children and adults.
